#BigBlogmasProject2014 | Christmas Nail Art

Hey guys!

Here is a nail art tutorial for you for Christmas. I did this last year and it is a simple yet effective snowflake. So let's begin!

1. Start off with a base coat to have a nice base for your design.

2. Then, paint your nails a light blue as if it were a winter sky. Let this dry.

3. Using a white striper or a thin brush dipped in white nail varnish, draw a '*'. First you can draw a line going across, a line going down through it in the middle then two lines either side on the diagnol. You should then have 8 points. Make sure you don't draw these lines too close to the edge as you need room to do the dots on the ends of them!

3. Next you need a dotting tool or a paintbrush (which is what I used). Use the dotting tool or end of the paintbrush dipped in white nail varnish and dot a large dot at the end of each line on the point. Let it fully dry.

4. To make sure your nail art is long lasting, use a top coat. I recommend using a high shine one!

And that's it! Apologises for lack of neatness in my version, I had done that last year when my nail art skills were still improving!
