Morning Skincare Routine
Hello!
I've always stuck to a strict skincare routine but in the past 3 months I've become even more interested in skincare products. Because of this my skin is the best it has ever been and I would like to sing these products' praises!
The first step of my routine is to use my Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash. I have always used tea tree face wash because tea tree is great for treating and preventing acne- and that's what my problem is! However, if I have a really dry patch of skin or my face is really dry in general, I'll use The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash on it. Vitamin E is fabulous for dry skin, whereas tea tree can dry it out even more. This smooth and creamy formula really calms down angry, dry and sensitive skin.
Afterwards, I'll use the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads. I absolutely love this!! I have post acne marks on my face so I use these to help resurface and exfoliate which will encourage the marks to heal. I've definitely noticed a change in the appearance of those marks. I also love how refreshing they feel and how brightening they are!
I then use The Body Shop Drops of Youth Essence Lotion if I have the time. If I am really low on time, this would be the step that I miss and use in the evening instead. This may sound stupid to some people but as soon as I turned 20 I looked into anti-ageing stuff and the Drops of Youth range is perfect for the first signs of ageing. The texture of this is great because it is a gel to water formula and really brightens my skin. A little goes a long way too, so I know this will last me for ages!
Whilst I'm letting the Essence Lotion sink in, I'll then put on some lip balm. I rarely go out without lipstick on so I need smooth lips to begin with! I use the Classic Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm and I like that it's in a squeezy bottle because I find product always gets underneath my nails when I use it in a tub.
Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy is then the hand cream that I am using at the moment. Another disadvantage of sensitive skin is how dry my hands get, so I need to regularly use hand cream. I have lots of travel sized Crabtree & Evelyn ones as well as L'Occitane ones so I am sorted for a good while.
For the last step is my moisturiser. As long as I've been using tea tree I have been using Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Moisturiser. It is oil-free and part of the Visibly Clear range which again is great for my acne prone skin. It is such a lightweight formula which is perfect for the morning when you need to then apply make up. No time to wait for it to sink in! It also smells great, which is a bonus.
If I am abroad or it is unusually sunny in England, I use the Nip+Fab Post-Glycolic Fix Moisturiser SPF 30. It is post-Glycolic because Glycolic makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight so an SPF is necessary. I struggle with SPFs that don't sting my eyes and make me break out, but I think this is finally the one for me.
That's my morning skincare routine! Let me know if you use any of these products. I'll be uploading my evening skincare routine soon, which has a really interesting product in it, so look out for that!

Yep it's the best! I always used the tubs and they last me ages but I was so fed up of getting lip balm stuck underneath my long nails haha!
