Models Own Sticky Fingers Nails + Review!

Hello!

I have been meaning to upload this for about two months now and I have finally gotten round to it. When I was given this Models Own Sticky Fingers by my mother I was so excited as it was something I had wanted for ages!
For those of you who don't know, Models Own have a collection of 'Sticky Fingers' which is basically one of their nail varnishes and a set of nail stickers which you can get various designs for. My one was the Pop Art with the red nail varnish.

I really like what I did with it and I liked how it looked. Here is what I did:

This is what the product looks like in its packaging:
The nail varnish looks like this. I love the vibrancy of the red and it goes on well.

Here is the sheet of stickers. I thought the shape of the sheet of stickers was a bit odd but that's not a problem. As you can see there are many different stickers to use that come in different sizes to fit different nails.

On the back of the box are instructions, although the process is pretty self explanatory. You paint your nails and allow them to fully dry then apply the stickers with a top coat on top.
I managed to make the stickers last 6 days before they peeled off. I used the Models Own 5 in 1 Top Coat on top and reapplied it once nearly every day. I would also everyday just run my fingers over the stickers to make sure the edges were firmly stuck down still.

What may bug people is that you can see an outline of the clear sticker around the image, however it doesn't really bug me.

Overall I really like the concept of this and how it works. It is great for when you want nice nails but don't have time to sit and be patient doing nail art. It is also great if you are someone who struggles with nail art.

Have you ever used Sticky Fingers? Let me know!

The Summer Tag!

Hello! Seeing as the weather has been so lovely lately, I thought doing the Summer tag would certainly be appropriate!

1. What's your favourite thing about summer?
The freedom! The weather and time off allows me to have a lot of free time to chill out and relax with friends and family.

2. Do you have a favourite summer drink?
A freezing cold orange and passion fruit j2o is the way to go for me. :-)

3. Is there a location you like to go to each summer?
Me and my family don't always, but mostly, go to a Greek island when we go on holiday. Does that count? I always go to Weston Super-Mare also.

4. Favourite make up look for summer?
A cat eye and a brightly red or purple lip.

5. Dresses or skirts?
I don't really wear either, I mean I only own one skirt and one dress! I am more of a shorts person. But if I had to choose, it would be a skirt.

6. Sandals or ballet pumps?
Sandals! I do not own any ballet pumps as they do not seem to ever stay on my feet.

7. Do you prefer to wear your hair up or down for summer?
Down. The only times I ever wear my hair up is to wash my face and to go to my dance lessons. Really do not like my hair tied up!

8. Deep smoky eyes or bold lips?
God I cannot choose, I love both!

9. Favourite perfume for summer?
Anything by Ed Hardy is perfect for me.

10. Last but not least, favourite music for summer?
Eskimo Kiss by The Kooks is a great summer one for me and I always find The Darkness great for sunny days out.

I tag any of you to do it! What do you like to do in the summer?

Film: The Fault in Our Stars! (NO SPOILERS)

Hello!

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love the book The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. In fact, it is by far my favourite book. So when I found out there was going to be a special advance screening of the film before it actually came out in the UK, I immediately booked tickets to go.

The great thing about the special advance screening was that you knew everybody there was a huge fan of the book and knew everything about it. So when it came to inside jokes etc in the film everybody always laughed at the same part or whatever as they all understood it, something you may not get with those who have not read the book.

Because it was an advance screening there were thankfully no advertisements shown before the film which was good. Before the film a clip of John Green introducing the film to us played and everybody cheered. Gotta love John Green- he is a genius!

Then the film played, and let me tell you it was amazing. It exceeded all my expectations and it sticks to the book extremely well, to the point where you could quote the words as they were saying it in the film. It made us all laugh loads with plenty of humour and sob like we have never sobbed before. You could hear everybody crying near the end and when the lights came on there was just a sea of girls with tears rolling down their faces and smudged make up.

After the film, they showed a Q and A video with the cast, including John Green and the director of the movie. It was really good and I thought the director looks exactly like a grey haired version of Benedict Cumberbatch! Afterwards they played a deleted scene which actually had John Green in it which was quite funny.

At the end we were all given a lanyard with the special advance fan screening on it along with Hazel and Augustus. We also received some limited edition posters which was quite cool.

Overall I rate the film a million out of a million. It was incredible and I loved every moment of it- there was no scene I thought was bad or anything I can think to criticise.

I will definitely go see it again and will watch it a billion times over when the DVD eventually comes out. I love it so much and I recommend everybody to go and see it!

The film is now officially out to everybody in the UK.

Have you seen it or are planning to go see it? What do you think of it? Let me know!

Boohoo: Maddy Holographic Buckle Chunky Shoe!

Hello!

I am so excited to share these! I have been after holographic shoes for about 4 months now, and specifically this pair from boohoo.com for 3 months. I had to do a lot of waiting as they went out of stock for a long while, but now I finally have them!

I am someone who never wears heels, so these boots are interesting for me with their 10.75cm heel. However, I am ALWAYS someone who loves wearing chunky boots which stand out, so these holographic beauties had my name written all over them! I absolutely love them and cannot wait for an excuse to wear them out.

I love how they shine and go rainbow colours in the sunlight!

Here is what they look like from the top in the sunlight:

Here is what they look like from the side in the sunlight:

Here is what they look like not in the sunlight:
