The Christmas Tag!!!

I found this Christmas tag online and I thought it might be fun to do and put me in the festive spirit. Feel free to also do it!

The Furry Friend Tag

Hello!


I saw Samantha Maria (Formerly The Beauty Crush) do this tag in a video so I thought I would do it myself as I am quite a fan of animals!


1) What is your pet's name? Suki!


2) What kind of pet is it and what breed? Suki is a cat and she is a tortie. Something distinctive about her coat is that she has a half black, half brown face where the line between them goes directly down the middle of her face in a straight line. 


3) How long have you had your pet friend? We have had her about 3 years now. We got her about 5/6 months after we lost my childhood cat Tabitha who we had for 16 years.


4) How did you get your pet? We got Suki from Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue. We knew we wanted a rescue cat and we saw Suki on their website. I was scrolling through all the cats they had up for adoption and as soon as I saw Suki's 'half and half face' and read her description I just knew she was the one. We then went to go see her in her foster home and got her a week after that. 

5) How old is your pet? She has just turned 5 years old. We aren't 100% on when she was born but we know she is about 4/5 years old. We decided to give her a birthday which is the 6th November.


6) What are some quirky things about your pet's personality? My cat is such a clumsy cat! She once fell out of my Mum's window which is on the top floor. Thankfully she was fine overall just had a bruised spine/tail so she had to be on painkillers for a while that made her a bit 'loopy'. She is always missing her step on tables or skidding across the floor because she forgot to put her brakes on. Suki also likes to sleep on your face/neck and lick your face as well as constantly sitting on the laptop because she wants your attention. The amount of times she has stopped me from writing a blog post is silly.


7) What does your relationship with your pet mean to you? I absolutely love my cat. My family and I are big cat fans and we have always said that a home is not completely a home without a cat. Suki is my best friend and apart of the family and I love lounging in bed with her.


8) What are some of your favourite past times with your pet? One of my favourite memories is the first full day of having her she was still really nervous and checking the house out. She had just gotten the bravery to go upstairs and she spent the whole day in my bedroom with me. I think from then on she had built a trust with me and always went to me over other family members. I generally just enjoy having cuddles with her and watching TV. She enjoys cat documentaries!


9) What are the nicknames that you call your pet? I call her so many names! Suki Moo, Moo Moo, Spooky (on Halloween), Sudoku and Moo Mee. I completely baby her so I always come out with ridiculous nicknames for her.


My family did have lizards but now my sister has moved out into her own place she took the lizards with her. They are crested geckos called Stig and Tikka and they sometimes breed so a few times a year we might have a few baby lizards too. I have also had a hamster called JayJay and two gerbils named Winston and Nibbler, as well as my previous tabby cat Tabitha. 

I tag my close friend Emily because I know she is very fond of her dog Curly!

What's On My Phone?

Hello!

I like being nosey and seeing what people have on their phones, in their bags etc (from blogs/YouTube of course, not just physically snooping through people's stuff!) so I thought I would do a 'What's On My Phone?' post.

Let's start with what phone I have. I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. It is an alright phone I've had for a year but now my messages freeze so much! 

My lock screen is a photo of me and my boyfriend that I really like.

My home screen photo is a photo of my nephew, Laithan. I usually alternate between this photo and a photo of my niece Lisa-Mae so it's fair! As you can see on my homescreen I keep all my most used apps which are all my main social ones including the camera for quick photo taking.

So here is my first page of apps. I have various social apps like SnapChat and the weather app to help me decide what to wear everyday! The downside of having an Android phone is that you are forced to have unnecessary apps already downloaded on your phone that you can't uninstall so I made a folder called 'The Unnecessaries' which I've put them all in.

Of course as a Blogger I have the BlogLovin app which I find amazing to be able to see all blog posts from my favourite bloggers at one time. I can spend ages on this app!

Another example of an app I have is the My Day Countdown App. I am one of those people who like to countdown to all upcoming events no matter how far away they are and here is one of them which is mine and my boyfriend's Year & A Half anniversary.

I also have a 'Photo' folder where I have the camera and Instagram. I also have an app which I use to resize photos so they will fit on Instagram

 Here is the second page of my apps. Not much of a page but it has some decent apps on it!

 Here is my 'Travel' folder. I am beginning my gap year after June so I've been using these apps to look at places I might like to travel to. I love TripAdvisor for seeing different locations and reviews. I use the National Rail app to plan train journeys for holidaying in the UK and maps to see how far away things are, ie how close a hotel is to a train station!

 One of the most important apps on my phone is my Timetable app. I use this everyday for Sixth Form as it keeps tracks of what lessons I have and when, when exams are and any tasks I have to do. If you're in education I strongly recommend this app as it is an excellent planner and timetable that is colour-coded, organised and just amazing. I've used this for well over a year now and haven't looked back.

The TimeHop app enables you to see things you have posted on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter over the years to the date. Mine goes as far back as 5 years and it is interesting to see how something you were doing 3 years ago is similar to what you're doing right now. It reminds you of things you forgot but seeing Facebook statuses from 5 years ago can make you cringe quite a bit!

 Finally, of course, I have the YouTube app which I much prefer over using the desktop version of YouTube. It keeps good track of all my subscriptions and I cannot go a day without using it.

So there we have it! I used to have lots of games on my phone but my memory is too full now.

1. You've had a bad day, what do you do to cheer yourself up?

I have a bath using one of my Lush bath bombs or bubble bars and either watch something on Netflix, read a book or watch my favourite YouTubers. Always works!

2. Who are your #WomanCrushWednesday and #ManCrushMonday ?

My man crush ultimately is my boyfriend but I cannot resist Jensen Ackles and Ian Somerhalder ;-) As for female I have had a massive crush on Taylor Momsen since I was 13 years old and I always admire the SuicideGirls.

3. Favourite fail-safe make up products?

My Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. It never lets me down! 

4. Are you more of a (sassy) bold eye or (sassy) bold lip kind of girl?

This was a really difficult one to choose between as I love doing both but I think I will have to go with a bold lip. A classic red or purple lips are my favourite!

5. Favourite High End Makeup brand?

I never buy any high end make up as I don't have a lot of money to spend on the make up. The most I have ever spent on make up is Gimme Brow! from Benefit.

6. Favourite Drugstore Makeup brand?

I honestly don't have a favourite brand but by looking at my make up collection you can see I like a lot of stuff from Maybelline and L'oreal. My favourite drugstore make up brand for the base of my make up however is Collection.

7. Hair up or down?

Down, always! I've never been a fan of wearing my hair up and only do it when I'm washing my face. Boring I know but I don't feel my hair suits me tied up!

8. Summer or Autumn? Why?

The Summer because it generally puts everyone in a much more happy cheery mood and you can go do things outside without being cold or dealing with much rain! (I say much rain because I live in England so it will still rain haha)

9. Favourite Meal?

I love tomato pasta and pasta parcels which I have regularly every week but I also love my Nan's roast dinner on a Sunday. No roast dinner I have ever tried as ever beaten hers!

10. Favourite Disney film/ princess?

I really like Tangled as it is a funny film with good songs and I can relate to Rapunzel in the fact that I used to have super long hair and I never seem to go out and explore the world! However Frozen is also fantastic for brilliant Disney songs.

I also quite like Mulan as she is super cool and won't let anyone mess with her haha.

11. What is your favourite clothing shop?

My favourite clothing shop is Blue Banana which isn't really a common favourite amongst bloggers but it is where I get the majority of my clothes! I really love alternative and weird clothing and Blue Banana is fantastic for that.

Halloween Blog Posts | Nails, Tag and Lush

Halloween Tag!

1. Favourite Halloween movie?


I don't particularly have a favourite movie for Halloween but I absolutely adore the TV series Supernatural which I think would be a good choice for Halloween. Demons and other creatures galore!


2. What age did you stop trick-or-treating?


I have absolutely no idea! I didn't used to go trick or treating too much as my siblings/Mum were always reluctant to take to me. I was probably around 9 years old.


3. Favourite Halloween costume you have worn?


A couple of years ago I dressed up as a bloody nurse. I had an awesome bloody nurse costume with bone sticking out of it and I bought some long white stockings with blood on to match. I then painted my nails red and drawn some white crosses on it like a hospital sign! I was pretty proud of myself. 
Also, when I was younger I won the best dressed competition as a devil but the day after I had a massive allergic reaction to the red face paint I had all over my face!


4. What are you going to be this year?


I am not sure what I am doing for Halloween. I haven't done anything for Halloween for a while as I have been on holiday in that week usually so I am unsure. I will certainly ler you know what I do if I chose anything!


5. Do you like going to haunted attractions?


I have never been to one before but I certainly wouldn't mind a spooky night out. It would make great fun with friends!


6. Vampires or werewolves?


Vampires always. Vampire films/books are my guilty pleasure! There is something about vampires I just find so...attractive.


7.Favorite Halloween candy?


When I was younger I used to really like Haribos and the orange or strawberry flavoured lollipops. I wouldn't be able to have a lot of the Halloween treats now like I used to as I am now vegetarian and a lot of them have gelatin in but I can still enjoy some of the lollipops!


8.Do you decorate your house!


I don't decorate my house but because I live in a street full of lots of children who come trick or treating I like to put up a scary sign on the outside door written in red and put the Halloween treats in a pumpkin bag which I used to take out trick or treating with me.


9.Least favourite costume


I think my least favourite would have to be the devil one again! Although the outfit was cool, my skin was red and swollen from that face paint for weeks after! No fun!


10.Have you ever repeated a costume and what was it?


When I was younger I used to repeatedly wear a witches outfit and if I cannot think of anything to wear this year I will probably repeat the bloody nurse outfit again. 


11.Do you believe in ghosts?


No I don't believe in ghosts. I have family members who claim to have ghost experiences but for me personally I do not believe they exist.


12.Scariest Halloween Experience


I have never had a scary Halloween experience. The only thing I can think of is when I was younger I went to my sister's boyfriend's family Halloween party and they had cobwebs all over the ceiling with fake spiders in. However, we all knew they had a pet tarantula so they tricked us by telling us kids that they let their pet one out too! We were all screaming.

What are dressing as for Halloween?

The Summer Tag!

Hello! Seeing as the weather has been so lovely lately, I thought doing the Summer tag would certainly be appropriate!

1. What's your favourite thing about summer?
The freedom! The weather and time off allows me to have a lot of free time to chill out and relax with friends and family.

2. Do you have a favourite summer drink?
A freezing cold orange and passion fruit j2o is the way to go for me. :-)

3. Is there a location you like to go to each summer?
Me and my family don't always, but mostly, go to a Greek island when we go on holiday. Does that count? I always go to Weston Super-Mare also.

4. Favourite make up look for summer?
A cat eye and a brightly red or purple lip. 

5. Dresses or skirts?
I don't really wear either, I mean I only own one skirt and one dress! I am more of a shorts person. But if I had to choose, it would be a skirt.

6. Sandals or ballet pumps?
Sandals! I do not own any ballet pumps as they do not seem to ever stay on my feet.

7. Do you prefer to wear your hair up or down for summer?
Down. The only times I ever wear my hair up is to wash my face and to go to my dance lessons. Really do not like my hair tied up!

8. Deep smoky eyes or bold lips?
God I cannot choose, I love both! 

9. Favourite perfume for summer?
Anything by Ed Hardy is perfect for me.

10. Last but not least, favourite music for summer?
Eskimo Kiss by The Kooks is a great summer one for me and I always find The Darkness great for sunny days out.

1. I dye my hair a blackcurrant colour

2. I am taking a gap year next year where I plan to travel and do some voluntary work for a mental health charity!

3. I am a dancer and have been the large majority of my life. I do tap and also used to do ballet.

4. I am the youngest of 5 siblings: four sisters and one brother!

5. I want to work with mental health and teenagers as a career.

6. Once I sent a photo to my male friend on Facebook and didn't realise I had underwear I had worn on the floor in the photo! I was severely embarrassed and couldn't face him for ages.

7. I have two crested gecko lizards which sometimes breed and we look after the babies until they are old enough to sell on.

1.) What are you wearing?
A black, long top with skulls and anchors all over with black leggings with Frankenstein and his wife all over. All from Blue Banana I believe!

2.) Have you ever been in love?
Yes, with my boyfriend.

3.) Have you ever had a terrible break up?
 Unfortunately, yes. It was awful but I guess it kind of made me who I am!

4.) How tall are you?
I think I am about 5ft 6! I am taller than everybody in my family apart from my Dad. I come from a family of small people!

5.) How much do you weigh?
8 Stone on the dot.

6.) Do you have any tattoos?
 No, not yet. But this time next year this answer may be different! I am very in to tattoos so there definitely will be a couple.

7.) Do you have any piercings?
 Yes! I have 7 in total: in my left ear I have three ear lobe ones, my tragus and the top of my ear. In my right ear I have two ear lobe ones. I plan to get many more piercings as I am very in to them!

8.) What is your OTP?
Fourtris (Divergent), Clace (City of Bones) and Phan (Danisnotonfire/AmazingPhil). I used to be a guilty reader/writer of fanfic!

My ultimate favourite is SUPERNATURAL with American Horror Story in second. Thirdly is Family Guy!

 I don't really have favourites any longer but I love rock/metal music and going to concerts. Recently I have been listening to a lot of Cancer Bats and The Darkness music.

11.) What is something you miss?
 Is having a life a reasonable answer? Haha but seriously I haven't been to a concert in a looooong time and I really miss them.

Some of my all time favourites include Nicotine and Alcohol Saved My Life by Deaf Havana, Nirvana's Lithium, In Waves by Trivium and September's Children by Rise Against.

14.) What is a quality you look for in a partner?
Someone who is in to the same music as me and shares a similar humour to me. I don't like someone who is really romantic as I am not in to that but they must be committed and in it for the long run. I prefer longer hair on partners and I love tattoos and piercings on them. My boyfriend fits for the most part!

I love rock/metal, what do you think? Haha! Although I am in to musical numbers and jazzy stuff too...

18.) Where do you go when you’re sad?
I go to bed, eat food and talk to my boyfriend.

About an hour.

20.) How long does it take you to shower?
5 minutes if it's a normal shower and 20 if it is hair washing day.

21.) Ever been in a physical fight?
I don't proudly say this but yes I was got in to quite a few when I was much younger.

Someone who doesn't take care of hygiene or does drugs.

23.) Do you have any fears?
I have a fear of being in social situations and when I was in secondary school I had a fear of being in a classroom with people. I am also scared of going downstairs by myself in the dark haha!

24.) What is the last thing that made you cry?
I think it was perhaps on my birthday two weeks ago when my sister announced to me she was pregnant. It was a shock and very overwhelming! I also cried a little when I watched the film of Divergent.

25.) When was the last time you said you loved someone?
Yesterday to my boyfriend. :-)

26.) Meaning behind your blog name?
Well my real name is Briony but my family have always called me Bea, therefore giving me the nickname Bea. People sometimes call me Briony and they sometimes call me Bea so that's how I came up with BrionyBea. Sincerely is there because it is like how you sign off a letter and yeah, nothing special really!

27.) Last book you read?
Allegiant :')

28.) Book you’re currently reading?
I have not started another yet because of revision and probably won't until my exams are over but I will probably begin the Infernal Devices next!

29.) Last show you watched?
The last programme I watched was Britain's Got Talent and the last series I watched was season 2 of American Horror Story.

31.) Relationship between you and the last person you texted?
Boyfriend/girlfriend

One thing to know about me is I absolutely hate the term 'crush'! Although I have forever had a thing for Taylor Momsen, she is an extremely attractive woman. Kat Von D is pretty great too.

Starburst flavours! Orange perhaps?

37.) What instruments do you play?
I don't play any, I played harmonica for four years in primary school but that was it. I would love to know how to play the drums!

38.) Favourite piece of jewellery?
I love my pentagram choker and I have got another choker in the post coming which as a key and chains on! That is super exciting.

39.) Last sport you played?
Lol, since when did I play sports? Anyone who knows me knows I hate sport. Although if you count dancing as a sport then that was the last sport I did.

Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile from the musical Annie.

41.) Last time you hung out with someone?
Yesterday with my boyfriend. (God he comes up a lot doesn't he?!)

Liebster Award!

Hello!

Thanks to Imogen Fluer I have been nominated for the Liebster Award which is designed for blogs with smaller bloggers to get to know each other which I think is a pretty fabulous idea! I was so happy to see my nomination as it tells me at least one person looks at my blog which is pretty cool.

You have to answer the 11 questions the person who nominated you  has created, then create 11 different questions for your own nominations to answer and then go and let them know you've nominated them.

Here are my answers to the questions Imogen Fluer gave me:

1. If you were to be bought one beauty product, what would it be?

If it was something I always need it would be Collection Lasting Perfection concealer! That is my baby. But if it would be to try something new I'd like to be bought something from Benefit to try.

2. What colour is always on your nails?

Red! Although I don't usually ever have one solid colour on my nails, red is mostly my colour to go for with nail art designs.

3.  What is your favourite book?

This is such a difficult question! I cannot simply put one! But I love:

• City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments) series by Cassandra Clare
• The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth
• Noughts and Crosses series by Malorie Blackman

4.  What is your favourite highstreet make up brand?

L'oreal is my favourite! I get my usual eyeliner from there and they do great lipsticks.

5.  What clothes shop do you go to most?

Blue Banana is where I get the majority of my clothes from. It's my alternative heaven!

6.  Where would you like to visit most in the world?

America! That sounds super common and cliche I know but I've never been before.

7.  What is your favourite skincare product?

Tea Tree face wash by The Body Shop is my skincare essential, although I use pretty much all the Tea Tree range from there. 

8.  What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?

A tough one! Perhaps my completely laced/netted top which I got for Christmas. I have NO IDEA where it came from but it seems to go with everything I wear whether I wear it over top or underneath.

9. Who would you like to meet most?

There is this YouTuber called Charles Trippy (also the bassist in the band We The Kings) and his wife Alli who I have been watching for three years now and are my inspiration. I'd probably cry if I met them.

10.  What is your favourite mascara?

Maybelline Great Lash Blackest Black Mascara. I have about 9 of these! 

11.  What is your order at Starbucks?

Hot chocolate with cream always. Yum!
